MPMN are hosting a music industry networking day on Wednesday 18 August at The Rye Hotel.
Themed ‘Connecting the MP Music Community’, the inaugural MP Music Network ‘Professional Development and Networking Event’ is the largest ever local gathering of music industry and will feature input from the best local artists and professionals as well as a few expert guests.
Paddy Donovan (ex-CEO Music Victoria) will be facilitating the day and updating the Peninsula music sector on the Shire music plan which he has helped to write.
The day will feature several panel discussions for music professionals including subjects for artists, producers, promoters, bookers and venue and festival operators. The day will start at 1.30pm, there will be networking drinks from 5.30pm and an evening of live music performances at Moonah Arts Collective from 7.30pm – a two minute drive from the Rye Hotel.
