The Hinterland Music Festival, a new community music event that celebrates roots, folk, alt. country and more.

Set among the gum trees at Red Hill Recreation Reserve, it’s a festival for music-appreciating audiences of all ages.

The 2022 lineup includes emerging and established artists, singer-songwriters and bands – a wealth of great talent. It features two stages – a main stage and the MP Stage for local artists to showcase their original material to the music-loving audience.

To make your day even better, you’ll be able to enjoy a great selection of craft beers, fine wines and spirits, dine on meals and snacks from fabulous food trucks and (of course) sip a brew from our coffee cart. Local groups such as Scouts and Lions Club will also join uin, with profits going back into the community.

It’s a day to sit back under the trees, relax with friends and listen to world-class music in an idyllic regional setting. Brought to you by the music lovers who established and run the popular Music on the Hill (MOTH) events in Red Hill, Hinterland Music Festival is an essential addition to the Victorian music festival calendar.
