Cam Cooper is a singer songwriter currently living in the Mornington Peninsula.

From the young age of 8, Cam started learning the guitar and this led to music being a big part of his formative years, eventually trying his hand at lead singing while still playing guitar in various bands throughout high school. He played in many original bands in his 20’s and had varying levels of success which included supporting bands like – Noiseworks, The Choirboys, Billy Thorpe, Thirsty Merc, The Screaming Jets, The Hoodoo Gurus and Shannon Noll while still playing at most of the classic rock venues of melbourne, from The Espy to The Duke of Windsor to The Tote and many other beer soaked stages!

At the end of the 2000’s Cam was tiring of the constant toil of trying to break original bands and while juggling family life tried his hand at acoustic covers, which still kept him performing live music. This went on for most of the 2010’s and eventually he upped stumps from inner suburban Elwood and moved to the Mornington Peninsula. This has led to plenty of gigs playing acoustic covers and Cam is seen gracing bars, breweries and wineries all over the Peninsula, making a name for himself as a very entertaining live act.

Cam hasn’t forgotten his original music roots and still writes and records songs at his home studio. He is working on a new batch of recordings to be released through March/April 2020 beginning with his first single I Need You Tonight.
