It’s that time of year again!
MP Music is holding its annual General Meeting on Wednesday October 30 at God’s Kitchen, 53 Barkly Street Mornington. 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start.
This is an important occasion, possibly more so than previous general meeting events you may have attended and if this is your first, – it is not one to miss.
Firstly, it’s really the only opportunity our members get to meet up and socialize in pleasant surroundings but more importantly, this meeting is your opportunity to determine the future of the Network and shape its future direction.
A couple of months ago a member survey was conducted and received a solid response. The survey asked some hard questions about whether members saw a need for continuing the Network and a resounding majority said “yes!”
Members were also asked if they were willing to assist in the future activity of the Network and a pleasing number of you responded that they would be prepared to assist when and as they are able.
Some members did indicate their views that the Network ought not to continue, and it is therefore important, at this meeting, that all members have an opportunity to discuss the future and the vision for this organization as the representative body for music industry participants on the Peninsula.
Could you please send your RSVP to [email protected] as soon as possible so we can ensure that there are sufficient nibbles for all in attendance and also to ensure we have a quorum for the meeting. If you cannot attend, please take the time to appoint a proxy so that your views can be aired by a member in attendance.
