Saxophonist, composer and arranger Arin Grigg holds a Bachelor of Music from Monash University and a Master Of Music from New York University with a 4.0 GPA. He has performed at The Blue Note New York with 6x Grammy Winner Randy Brecker, SNL/Tower of Power’s Lenny Pickett, Alex Sipiagin, Grammy Nominee Michael Rodriguez, Brad Shepik, and recorded for NYU’s Jazz Archives with 5x Grammy Winner, John Scofield. Mentored by members of Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, Patrick Williams’ Big Band, The Academy Awards Orchestra and The Village Vanguard Orchestra, Arin’s Australian recording credits include Kate Cebrano’s Monash Sessions and Paul Grabowsky's ARIA Nominated Nyilipidgi.
Arin’s Australian large ensemble credits included the Monash Art Ensemble, Monash Jazz Orchestra, Victoria Police Showband, Melbourne Composers Big Band, and musically directing big band projects including The New Melbourne Showband and The Gil Askey Memorial Big Band. Having performed with James Morrison, Indian classical guitarist Debasis Chakroborty, Mike Nock, George Garzone, John Hoffman, Tony Gould, and Don Burrows, Arin currently performs, orchestrates and musically directs for weddings and corporate events including the Crown Business Awards, the Lindt Charity Ball and the Lucille Charity Ball.
